Entries Playlist
We put together a playlist so you can easily see all 30 entries! The first three are in order of winning, and the rest are randomized I believe.

The Judging Process
All of the BPS team members nominated one member from the community who is no longer very affiliated with the Halo machinima community (thus to avoid overwhelming favoritism with existing directors.) Every team member and these community members watched all entries separately and scored them from 1 to 5 based on overall quality and enjoyment.

At the end, all of our scores were compiled into one large spreadsheet and summed up. The three highest scoring entries became the winners!

Follow-up
As our first competition, we certainly learned a lot as we put it together. We were overwhelmed at how many entries we had. We didn’t think we’d get nearly as many and thus kept the rewards smaller and the mood a bit more relaxed.

If you’d like to discuss your own opinions and suggestions for future competitions, see the thread we put together:

Cone Competition – Feedback & Discussion

Closing
In a few days we’ll be doing a unique news post for Simply Splendid for winning first place.

Thanks again everyone for entering, we hope to see you around!
