Sam here with another newsletter to give you all a quick update on what has been going on here at BPS and what is in store over the next few months.

Previous Projects

Jerry the Slime

Our newest team member, Eagle Empire, created a unique story about Jerry the Slime, a character related to CaptainSparklez. It’s an emotional story that Eagle definitely enjoyed making. You can check out Part 1 here.

Survival Games

Our popular Hypixel-based series “Survival Games” is now up to Part 4 in the 5-part series with the action getting far more intense. Nitrox is having a blast coming up with unique fight sequences. You can check Part 4 out here.

Skywars Mega

One of the biggest releases BPS has ever done, Skywars Mega is another Hypixel based film with massive action sequences and a touching story. This is animated by Arbiter 617 (it’s also the banner for this newsletter). You can check it out here.

150k Skywars Stream

To celebrate BPS hitting 150,000 subscribers, the core team streamed their favourite gamemode on Hypixel “Skywars Mega” with fans and friends. It was a very entertaining stream that works well as something to listen to while you work. You can check that out here.

Upcoming Projects

Skywars Hacker

The third and final animation to be made in the Skywars gamemode on Hypixel. This animation created by Arbiter 617 will be based on the ever-so-common hackers found in the gamemode and will have a more light-hearted feel to it. A comedic film which is due to come out within the next few weeks so stay tuned for that!

Survival Games Part 5 and Compilation

The finale of the Survival Games series will soon be released as Nitrox is working long and hard wrapping up the final scenes. You can expect to see this either by the end of the month or early July. A few weeks after Part 5 has been released, a full movie featuring all five parts in one continuous film will be put together to make it easier to watch the entire series uninterrupted.

Jerry the Slime Compilation

Similar to that of Survival Games, a compilation will be created for Jerry the Slime too for ease of viewing. This should be released in July as far as I’m aware.

PROJECT Containment

The long awaited finale to the Middleground Trilogy is due to be released this month! The movie has a final runtime of 56 minutes and is going through final post-production stages. A trailer is scheduled to be released on June 21st with the movie release date featured in that. And as some of you are aware, it will be the final Halo machinima on BPS.

Black Plasma Gaming

As the majority of BPS members stream regularly on their personal channels, it seemed like a good idea to create one channel designated as a gaming platform for all gaming-related BPS content to go. It is still in the early-Alpha stages as a final logo has not been decided on and we haven’t gotten into a regular schedule yet. The majority of content you will find there at the moment consists of old videos re-uploaded with a few newly recorded ones too.

Community Spotlight

A fan of Knightmare by the name of RaptorKlaw created a sweet live-action remake of a scene from one of Knightmare’s machinimas. The video is called Survivors and is well filmed with a great set of actors and props. Be sure to check it out below!
